Pictures don't do it justice

I'm getting married this fall for the first time at age 52! My fiancé is very romantic and old-fashioned, and he just didn't see an alternative to a diamond solitaire on a gold band. I knew I would be perfectly happy with a CZ stone. I'm also a "silver person," and I looked at many different bridal sets before finding those by Edwin Earls. Oh, my. Their jewelry pieces have the look and feel of estate sale/heirloom jewelry without the hefty price tag.I forwarded several suggestions to my fiancé, any of which I'd have been very happy with. He made the final selection, and it was a perfect choice. I didn't know he'd already ordered it, and even though he did not pay for express shipping, he ordered it on a Friday and it arrived on Monday!This set is clad in 14K white gold over .925 sterling. When my fiancé opened the box, I gasped. The set positively gleamed. I have not tried on the wedding band yet, but both rings are heavy for their size. Not too heavy -- they just don't feel cheap. They don't look cheap, either. The brilliant cut of the center stone in the engagement ring is beautiful. The low profile, bezel setting means it won't catch on clothes, blankets, etc. The semi-circular pavé stones surrounding the center stone are very elegant. Neither they nor the filigree detailing tapering down the sides of the band can be captured in pictures, but they are exquisite.Everything about this ring is understated and elegant. It is not big, loud, gaudy or flashy. A perfect fit for my style and taste and our budget. Cannot wait to put it together with the simple wedding band of channel set stones in October.(My ring size is 5; not sure why 8 keeps cropping up. In any case, the 5 is a perfect fit.)
