My fiance and I picked out this ring together, and it's even more stunning in person than these photos could ever possibly depict.The staff at Pompeii has been wonderful as well! We asked about commissioning the making of a duplicate bridal band to go with the set (so the engagement ring was flanked on either side by a band), and they got back to us very quickly, said they absolutely could, and even offered a very reasonable price quote for having it done.The ring is wonderful, and the people are great!One thing I would like to note, however, there is not a good side-view photo offered, and I was a little surprised to see how TALL the diamond sets up off the ring. I'm a veterinary technician, and have my hands in and out of exam gloves all day, so I was hoping for something that was mounted a little more flush and flat (so as to not be in my way, or rip/tear latex gloves)... which this certainly is NOT. But I still love it. Just wanted to warn others, the photos can be a little deceiving and make it look like it's a little more flat than it is. It stands up off my finger about a centimeter high! Just a head's up!
